Hong Kong was named the world's second most visited city for international arrivals this year, after Thailand's Bangkok, with 23.2 million visitors, according to global market research company Euromonitor International that ranks cities on criteria including tourism, sustainability, economic performance and health and safety. Istanbul rounded out the top five with 19.7 million visitors. The rest of top 10 were Dubai, Mecca, Antalya, Paris, and Kuala Lumpur.
